The Director of Quality Services reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Behavioral Health and supervises all aspects of compliance and the establishment of operational standards. This includes development of an Annual Quality Plan and Performance Analysis, ensuring compliance with certification and standards, and The development and use of data reporting for Key Performance Indicators and metrics. Primary Functions:

Manage department quality initiatives, including annual planning, reporting, and Rapid-Cycle Improvement projects. Coordinate the departments’ Value-Based payment initiatives. Provide oversight for the Behavioral Health Care Coordination team, including supervision of team leader. Lead the departments’ compliance efforts for all state and federal certification, including CARF, HRSA, Joint Commission and the Department of Mental Health. Ensure that the department completes regular audits on key processes and uses a quality improvement process for any needed improvement. Provide leadership and oversight for monitoring staff adherence to billing rules and guidelines, including process for correcting errors to assure timely billing. This includes supervision of the department Enrollment Coordinator. Maintain quality dashboards for providers, managers, and Behavioral Health Leadership, including training staff in using data reporting and development of additional metrics to meet the needs of the department. Assist in managing grants by providing assistance in data collection and analysis. Track program grant cycles, and provide assistance in completing grant application, monitoring and data collection. Collect and report metrics for CCBHO, Community Mental Health Funding and any others as designated.

Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s Degree in Healthcare administration or related field required A minimum of 10 years experience in the Behavioral Health Field A minimum of 5 years experience creating and managing reporting. A minimum of 5 years experience with quality improvement initiatives. A minimum of 3 years management experience. A minimum of 1 year experience with accreditation standards and processes. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience conducting continuous quality improvement activities within behavioral health systems Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Prior use of reporting platforms and EMR’s Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
