Director of MDS Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the MDS/RAI process to ensure accuracy and timely submission Manage MDS coordinators and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations Monitor quality measures and provide strategies for continuous improvement Educate and train staff on documentation and MDS processes Participate in care planning and case-mix management
Director of MDS Qualifications:
RN (Registered Nurse) license required; BSN preferred Minimum of 2 years’ experience in MDS coordination within a SNF/LTC setting Experience with ICD-10 coding and MDS assessment process Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations, including PDPM Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ready to lead with purpose and make a difference in resident outcomes?
