Treatment Plan Coordinator Okolona Family Dental 105 N Olive St, Okolona, MS 38860 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring smooth communication between patients and the clinic, and maintaining accurate health records. This position requires a strong understanding of dental coding, patient management systems, and excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional support to both patients and dental providers. Duties Coordinate patient treatment plans by working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate implementation of care. Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries. Maintain patient files and health information management systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, including coding using ICD-10 standards. Assist with dental collections by following up on outstanding balances and facilitating payment arrangements. Collaborate with clinical staff to streamline processes and improve patient experience within the clinic. Qualifications Previous experience in a front desk role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and dental billing practices is highly desirable. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar practice management software is an advantage. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing patient records effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of health information management principles is beneficial.
