Director Cardiovascular Services 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 1225 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39202 Overview Job Summary Director of Cardiovascular Service Line is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and management of a hospital’s cardiovascular services, including areas like cardiology, cardiac surgery, and cardiac rehabilitation. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Job Responsibilities Develops and implements the cardiovascular service line’s strategic plan, aligning it with the hospital’s overall goals. Oversees the service line’s budget and financial performance. Leads quality improvement initiatives, including data collection and analysis, to enhance patient outcomes and patient experience. Provides clinical leadership and guidance to the service line’s staff, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Manages all aspects of the service line, including diagnostic services, procedural services, and patient care. Fosters collaboration and communication between different departments and teams within the cardiovascular service line, as well as with other departments within the hospital Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to patient care, safety, and quality. Plays a role in recruiting and retaining qualified personnel within the service line. Leads and supervises the service line’s team, providing direction, motivation, and support. Collects, analyzes, and reports data related to service line performance, including quality indicators, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.
