Required
• LPC Licensed in Mississippi.

Defining Wellness Centers with locations in Brandon, MS and Ridgeland, MS is an addiction treatment facility serving both inpatient and outpatient clients. We have a beautiful 26 acre campus with expansion in place at our Brandon location.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Director in review and signing off on charting of P-LPC therapist, provide education to therapists as part of the review process, and works with the Executive Director on other projects related to the operation of the facility. Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with adult clients
• Collect and analyze data to assess client needs and progress
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client goals and objectives
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing mental health emergencies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
• Utilize medical terminology and documentation practices to maintain accurate client records
• Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive change in clients
• Provide child and family counseling services as needed
• Offer support and guidance to clients dealing with PTSD and trauma-related issues Other requirements
• Experience in behavior management techniques and crisis management
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
