Patient Care Coordinator/Scheduler Drs. Rogers, Clark and Associates Concord, NC 28025 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as a liaison between patients and staff and doctors, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their medi dental care. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of dental procedures, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering phone calls. Provide medical/dental administrative support by maintaining patient records and ensuring accurate documentation. Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Coordinate patient care activities by communicating effectively with healthcare providers and patients. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Utilize coding knowledge (ICD-9) for accurate billing and insurance claims processing. Support office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations of the medical office. Maintain familiarity with Meditech software for efficient patient management and record keeping Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of front desk operations and medical/dental administrative support functions. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Proficiency in clerical tasks including scheduling, data entry, telephone, filing, and basic office management. Knowledge of dental coding (ICD-9) is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
