Crisis Response Program Supervisor Cumberland County CommuniCare Inc. 109 Bradford Avenue, Fayetteville, NC 28301 Overview We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to provide direct service and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering Mobile Outreach Response Engagement and Stabilization (MORES) services to children, youth, and families experiencing behavioral health crises. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family-centered, community-based intervention, with previous experience in home based services or similar high-intensity behavioral health model. This position ensures effective coordination, oversight, and support for clinical staff while maintaining fidelity to the MORES model and system-of-care principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide crisis based services, leadership and day-to-day supervision of the MORES team, including therapists, case managers, peer supports, and other direct care staff. Ensure team adherence to evidence-informed practices , including crisis de-escalation, safety planning, family engagement, and trauma-informed care. Conduct case consultation , supporting staff in developing individualized stabilization plans, Crisis plans and intervention strategies to stabilize the presenting problem. Facilitate daily team huddles , staffing of crisis cases, ensure timely response to calls for service and weekly treatment team meetings. Ensure compliance with documentation standards, model fidelity, and MCO/funder requirements. Maintain a reduced caseload and serve as backup clinician for mobile response when necessary. Collaborate with system partners including DSS, schools, juvenile justice, hospitals, and MCOs to ensure coordinated service delivery. Participate in on-call rotation and ensure 24/7 crisis response coverage is supported. Review clinical documentation and provide timely feedback to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance. Support onboarding and ongoing training of staff to ensure clinical competency and professional growth. Collect and monitor team data related to service delivery, client outcomes, and response times; assist with quality improvement initiatives. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and solution-focused communication .
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, juvenile justice, criminal justice or a related behavioral health field. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or team lead experience , preferably in an Intensive In-Home, Crisis Response, or other high-intensity setting. Demonstrated experience working with children, youth, and families in crisis. Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, strength-based, and family-driven practices. Skilled in staff development, performance oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Familiarity with NC System of Care and Medicaid service definitions preferred. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond in the community required.
Preferred Competencies:
Experience with the MORES model , mobile crisis stabilization, or similar rapid response models. Ability to manage complex team dynamics while prioritizing child and family needs. Strong documentation and organizational skills.
