The 21-bed facility is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, a labor & delivery suite with a dedicated caesarian section OR, a full rehabilitation therapy center, cancer treatment and radiation therapy center, and a 24-hour emergency department. OBH is fully accredited, provides high quality care in a compassionate environment to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and has been nationally recognized for outstanding patient care. Position Summary Provides safe, expedient, cost-effective Outpatient Scheduling services. As a member of a team of healthcare professionals, a PSC is responsible for the scheduling of Outpatient procedures and appointments. PSCs behave in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of ECU Health. PSCs are also responsible for ensuring a positive first impression by using professional communication, clear enunciation and by greeting all callers with a smile and genuine attitude. Minimum Requirements High School, GED, or higher education or 5 years of relevant experience is required- or higher.
