Job Description:

The Director of Clinical Operations assures clinical quality and effective administration of clinical processes and delivery of services as well as provide information input for risk management. This key role has the ultimate responsibility for assuring the consistent application of clinical policies, procedures and guidelines throughout the Company. This position reports to the Director of Operations, with functional coordination with the Director of Clinical Quality and Compliance. This position is responsible for directing a variety of clinical functions of risk management, case management, disease management, and/or utilization management. Establish and implement cost-containment goals, objectives, metrics, and Return on Investment targets for population health. Ensure staff meet/exceed established goals and standards. Work with the other Goshen clinical staff to ensure compliance with certifications and regulations. Implement Policies/procedures and training programs to support the overall clinical quality of the Company.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct and oversee the Clinical Compliance Programs such as

CLIA, DEA & FDA

for the Company. Oversees consistent application of clinical policies, procedures, guidelines and criteria Works to develop action plans to rectify gaps in quality standards and inefficiencies. Reviews specific clinical change requests and clinical service issues. Resolves clinical service issues to ensure patient satisfaction . Provides clinical leadership and support to staff across the Company. Create and provide training presentations that support the Company’s Clinical Quality objectives . Oversee the planning, implementation and execution of all clinical educational activities and training to ensure processes are implemented and followed. Ensure clinical operational policies are reviewed and updated annually . Proactively evaluate areas of organizational risk based on internal assessment and external benchmarking and implement strategies and policies that promote patient and staff safety. Promote the occurrence of reporting process including trending and reporting of results, identification of problem-prone areas, and facilitation of prevention initiatives. Analyze all statistical reports and advisories that identify risk management and patient safety patterns and trends for leadership. Other duties assigned as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Batchelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensed to practice in North Carolina . Required 5+ experience in influencing, leading, and directing individuals in multiple functional areas. Self-confident, results-driven leader who can effectively communicate a clear vision and build a high-performing team. Well-developed proactive leadership skills, strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Communication, leadership, and team building skills . Reports to the Chief Operating Officer
