Lead Therapist – Inpatient Rehab Position Available In Gaston, North Carolina

Job Summary:

Provide supervision for employees engaged in administering a variety of rehabilitation services including but not limited to physical, occupational, speech. The Rehab Team Lead assists the Assistant Manager with quality and safety monitoring, performance improvement initiatives, program development and implementation with considerations of evidenced based best practice and fiscal management initiatives of the department. The Team Lead may be designated to act on behalf of the Assistant Manager in their absence. Provide daily therapy treatment and perform to the key roles and responsibilities outlined per their discipline credentials. Actively and positively contributes to the department’s morale and culture and requires the same from team members.

Qualifications:

Minimum Associates’ Degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy. North Carolina state license required in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology. Considerable knowledge of therapy terminology, procedures, and techniques. Thorough skill in performing therapy procedures. Ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians and hospital personnel. Considerable judgment required in working with patients and performing treatments. Proven ability to perform administrative managerial tasks. Deals effectively with situations involving the attitudes and opinions and feelings of others. At least two years experience in rehabilitation field. Required BLS certification EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
