Appalachian Community Services (ACS), an ncgCARE partner, isdedicated to providing mental health, substance use, andintellectual/developmental disability services to individuals andfamilies across the seven western counties of North Carolina. We are committed tooffering a comprehensive range of services to meet the evolvingneeds of our communities, including counseling and psychiatry,substance use treatment, crisis stabilization, intensive in-homeservices, peer support, and residential programs.

We are seeking aClinical Team Lead to oversee our Enhanced Services team. In thisrole, you will coordinate clinical services, provide directtherapy, and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-qualitycare for individuals and families. Minimum Requirements Education:

Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology,or a closely related field.

Licensure:

Active or provisional licensure as LPC, LCMHC, LCSW,LMFT, or equivalent (required).

Experience:

Previous experience providing individual and familytherapy. Experience in community-based mental health services preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting is aplus. Build Your Purpose.

Position Description:

Conduct and oversee client assessments to determine clinical needs,service scope, and anticipated outcomes. Assign team members based on their clinical expertise to ensure thehighest quality care for each client. Provide individual and family therapy to clients assigned to theEnhanced Services team. Ensure service delivery aligns with medical necessity criteria andclient Person-Centered Plans (PCPs). Monitor and evaluate interventions, services, and client progressto support positive treatment outcomes. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to all team members,ensuring adherence to best practices and individual supervisionplans. Ensure compliance with service documentation standards, includingreviewing and approving service notes and PCPs. Lead regular team meetings to discuss client progress,interventions, and team challenges. Facilitate crisis response and linkage to additional services asneeded to ensure comprehensive client care. Travel within the service area and maintain a flexible schedule tomeet the needs of clients and the team. Compensation:

$57,807 – $65,456.
