South Horner Boulevard, Sanford, NC 27332 Rapid Care PLLC , Sanford is in need of a Referral Coordinator. The Referral Coordinator (RC) ensures referral and transition coordination activities. The RC will effectively coordinate customer service requirements with onsite clinical personnel. Performs a key role, as Referral Coordinator and; is consistent, dependable and accurate in carrying out responsibilities to a successful conclusion.
Responsibilities:
obtaining and managing physician orders, manage referrals, and verifying insurances.
Additional responsibilities:
greeting clients and their families, assisting therapists with scheduling make-ups, and scheduling new patient evaluation appointments.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using EMR, phone systems and other office equipment
