This role will oversee the planning, development, and execution of high-impact events that enhance partner engagement, strengthen our brand, and support business growth initiatives. They will work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with executive leadership, Marketing, and Partner Success Teams to deliver exceptional experiences that reflect Crete United’s values and strategic vision. The Events & Hospitality Manager reports to the Senior Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities Program Development:
Oversee the planning and execution of all corporate events/trainings, including the annual Partner Summit, executive leadership meetings, strategic off-sites, and national trade shows. Continually bringing creative ideas and thinking to refresh annual events.
Budget Ownership:
Manage a comprehensive events and hospitality budget; lead negotiations and vendor relationships to maximize ROI while maintaining quality standards.
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with merchandise vendors, oversee Crete United Brand Central – offering corporate branded and co-branded items, supplying ideas for continuous improvement of products available and ease-of-use to our users. Identify new vendors as applicable and integrate them into our brand standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Serve as the central point of coordination for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on messaging, branding, and event objectives. Work closely with our team of designers and production team members to provide direction for event-related marketing materials.
Performance Optimization:
Establish KPIs for all event and hospitality activities, gather data-driven insights, and implement best practices to elevate execution and impact.
Brand Stewardship:
Ensure all experiences deliver consistent brand messaging and reflect Crete United’s values and culture. Qualifications 5-8 years of progressive experience in events, hospitality, or experiential marketing. Proven success in designing and managing large-scale corporate events, preferably in a multi-location or decentralized organization. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and external vendors in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Creative and strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills. Financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets. Honed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
