Full Job Description Job Summary:
A plastic surgery practice has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! We offer competitive pay, health benefits, paid time off, and other wonderful benefits. The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of our patient’s surgical experience including patient education, surgery scheduling, and financial estimates.
Duties:
- Conducting phone and face-to-face cosmetic surgery consultations.
- Responding and following up on patient inquiries via email or phone.
- Scheduling surgeries.
- Checking on patient paperwork, confirming consent forms are signed.
- Giving patient quotes.
- Confirming surgery coverage with Anesthesiologist.
- Tracking patient consultations.
- Collecting surgery payments.
Experience:
- Plastic surgery or dermatology experience is a plus.
- 5 years working in a medical office environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
