Job Description

Abound Health is seeking a Program Director to join our team supporting services for the intellectually and developmentally disabled (IDD) community. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily operations for Innovations Waiver and State-Funded Services, ensuring quality care, compliance, and staff support across your assigned office(s). You will report directly to senior leadership and play a critical role in defining and reinforcing Abound Health’s mission, vision, and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team including Assistant Program Directors, Qualified Professionals (QPs), Associate Professionals (APs), and Office Managers. + Conduct staff disciplinary actions, ensuring all documentation meets Medicaid requirements. + Lead regular team meetings and quarterly self-inspections/peer reviews. + Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain adherence to Abound Health and National Accreditation policies. + Represent Abound Health at community events, provider fairs, and council meetings. + Oversee incident report investigations and timely submissions to relevant authorities. + Supervise all administrative functions including billing, PTO tracking, employee benefits, and training coordination. + Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols. + Maintain Medicaid billing, employee onboarding/offboarding, and training program documentation. + Support growth initiatives, internal events, and outreach programs.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of management experience in the IDD field. + Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a diverse team. + Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills. + Deep understanding of Medicaid regulations, ISP Implementation, and third-party billing. + Passion for serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. + Must be flexible, organized, and aligned with Abound Health’s values and mission.

Work Environment:

This role operates across various environments including Abound Health offices, MCO locations, client homes, and community settings (e.g., parks, libraries, day programs).

Travel:

Regular travel within the assigned region is expected, including visits to homes, community events, and administrative offices.

Compensation & Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is based on experience and qualifications. Base pay is determined by factors such as location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant training. Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, competitive health/dental/wellness coverage (beginning on your 60th day), and 401(k) eligibility after 12 months.
