$18•20/hour (commensurate with experience) Role Overview TSG Behavioral Health & Community Services is seeking an experienced, proactive, and leadership-driven Qualified Professional to serve as the Outpatient Therapy Program Supervisor. This role plays a critical leadership function in overseeing the daily operations of the Outpatient Therapy (OPT) Program—ensuring compliance, documentation quality, client care coordination, and therapist support. In this position, you will work closely with the Clinical Services & Programs Supervisor and Clinical Director to manage therapist documentation, lead compliance efforts, support client assignments, and ensure therapists meet required clinical and operational standards. You will supervise therapists administratively while aligning with the clinical leadership team for direction. We’re looking for someone who will take full ownership of program oversight, drive improvements, lead with accountability, and enhance client experience through efficient processes. Key Responsibilities 1. Documentation Compliance & Quality Oversight Conduct weekly, structured reviews of therapist clinical documentation, including therapy progress notes, treatment plans, and Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs). Ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements under NC Clinical Coverage Policy 8G and other applicable standards. Track documentation timeliness, completeness, and accuracy; follow up on deficiencies to ensure correction and compliance. Provide direct, actionable feedback to therapists to improve documentation quality and adherence to standards. Collaborate with the compliance team and clinical director to recommend process improvements based on trends identified in documentation reviews. 2. Therapist Supervision & Program Support Serve as the administrative supervisor for outpatient therapists , supporting them in meeting documentation, compliance, and process standards. Act as the primary point of contact for therapists on documentation-related issues, providing guidance and follow-up support. Coordinate and facilitate weekly team meetings , ensuring key updates, compliance reminders, and documentation improvement plans are communicated and tracked. Monitor therapist performance in completing required documentation, addressing gaps proactively with feedback and improvement strategies. 3. Client Assignment Coordination Oversee the assignment of new clients to therapists, ensuring caseloads are balanced based on therapist availability, skill set, and client needs. Work with the intake and administrative teams to ensure clients are assigned promptly after assessment or referral approval. Monitor client onboarding progress and caseload distribution to ensure continuity of care and optimal therapist capacity. Resolve assignment challenges by coordinating with leadership, intake, and clinical teams to problem-solve caseload or scheduling issues. 4. Compliance Coordination & Program Integrity Act as a liaison between therapists, compliance team, and leadership to address and resolve documentation or compliance challenges. Participate as a key member of the compliance team , providing input and updates on documentation trends, gaps, and progress. Collaborate with the Clinical Services & Programs Supervisor to ensure the program meets audit readiness and Medicaid/MCO compliance requirements. Implement and maintain tracking tools for documentation oversight, compliance reporting, and corrective action follow-up. 5. Payment & Billing Approvals Review and approve therapist documentation required for billing, ensuring documentation quality aligns with Medicaid and third-party payer guidelines. Collaborate with the billing and administrative teams to resolve any documentation-related billing discrepancies or denials. Track and maintain approvals to support accurate and timely billing submissions. Additional Responsibilities Assist in onboarding new therapists by providing documentation and compliance training specific to program and state standards. Support leadership in planning and implementing training refreshers to address identified compliance issues. Monitor and report trends in documentation quality, therapist adherence, and compliance performance for leadership review. Perform other administrative or program coordination duties as assigned by the Clinical Services & Programs Supervisor or Clinical Director. Required Qualifications Must meet one of the following Qualified Professional criteria per 10A

Licensed or provisionally licensed professional in NC (e.g., LCMHC-A, LCSW-A, LCAS-A), or Master’s degree in a human services field plus 1 year of post-master’s experience in

MH/DD/SAS

services, or Bachelor’s degree in a human services field plus 2 years of post-bachelor’s experience in

MH/DD/SAS

services, or Bachelor’s degree in a non-human services field plus 4 years of post-bachelor’s experience in

MH/DD/SAS

services.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience supervising or overseeing staff documentation, compliance, or administrative performance. Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards, Medicaid/MCO compliance, and service definition requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback. Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple documentation and compliance priorities. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), Microsoft Office, and documentation tracking systems. Why This Role?
