About Position:
The Director of Behavioral Health is a behavioral health clinician responsible for overseeing and guiding integrated behavioral health programs at Piedmont Health Services (PHS). This includes managing clinical outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading strategic initiatives to improve patient outcomes in our Integrated Primary Care Behavioral Health program.

As Needed Duties/ Responsibilities
- In conjunction with CMO and COO, develop staffing plans for integrated care and behavioral health for the CHCs.
Provide training programs to integrated care employees and behavioral health clinicians. Ensure high-quality care delivery by PHS integrated care staff through training, peer review, and mentoring. Maintain and continuously improve provision of the integrated care and behavioral health model at CHCs. Work with PACE staff to provide behavioral health consultation and training. Oversight of PHS substance use services in conjunction with CMO or designee. Coordinate and implement staff trainings within CHCs and PACE, appropriate to their role in the integrated model of care and behavioral health. Maintain relationships with community and academic partners to assure access and sustainability of specialty service. Provide oversight to students/interns from professional schools, and provide relevant training applicable to their roles. In conjunction with CMO, manage and grow additional integrated care programs and services at PHS. Provide consultations to PACE leadership regarding behavioral health integration and programming. Provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians within CHCs and PACE. Qualifications•
Education:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other behavioral health or human services related field.
Required:
5 years of clinical experience; 2 years of supervisory or management experience; Experience in integrated primary care behavioral health.
Preferred:
Current/valid License:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS); Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
