SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that ACTT team provides excellent, courteous, and helpful psychiatric support services to clients and other teams within the agency
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Directs the day-to-day clinical operations of the ACTT team. Manages staff work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for day, evening, weekend, holiday shifts, and on-call hours. Leads daily staff meetings and treatment planning meetings. Continuously evaluates the status of clients and plans and coordinates treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs. Directs and coordinates admission and treatment, rehabilitation and support services in coordination with the psychiatrist, the admission interview, initial assessment, initial treatment plan, staffing, and the client-centered comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history and diagnosis for each client. Initiates and maintains relationships with stakeholders, including but not limited to staff, law enforcement, other human service providers, and community resources. Manages staff schedules, timesheets, documentation, performance and clinical supervisions, training, and the development of new staff. Participates in Quality Assurance activities such as peer reviews and record reviews as needed. Performs on-call duties for crisis intervention, staff supervision, and consultation. Ensures client records are maintained in compliance with agency policies. Oversees the administrative operations of the team. Provides clinical oversight of services in conjunction with the Psychiatric Care Provider. Provides clinical supervision to ensure the delivery of best and ethical practices. Supervises team members to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to ACTT model fidelity. Maintains a collaborative relationship and coordinates regularly with referring entities, including but not limited to Vidant Medical Center, Cherry Hospital, Trillium MCO, Walter B. Jones Center, and Pitt County Detention Center, and is actively engaged in ongoing discussions with each entity’s discharge team. Provides direct services to ACTT service beneficiaries by screening referrals and assessing beneficiaries at intake, acting as a lead clinician and working closely with a select group of service beneficiaries, modeling behaviors through service provision for clinical supervision purposes, participating in person-centered planning meetings, and collaborating with beneficiaries’ natural supports. Ensures full dedication to the ACT team, with no responsibilities outside of ACTT. Performs other job duties as assigned by the clinical director or leadership staff.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
Full licensure in a mental health specific field, such as
LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT.
