Qualified Professional Beacon of light support services, llc Salisbury, NC 28144 • Hybrid work Job Summary The Qualified Professional (QP) is responsible for the oversight and coordination of individualized care for clients served by Beacon of Light Support Services, LLC. This role involves comprehensive clinical supervision, service planning, documentation review, staff training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The QP acts as a liaison between the organization, clients, families, and external service providers to support person-centered treatment. Duties 1. Clinical Oversight and Planning Conduct and oversee comprehensive client assessments. Develop, implement, and update individualized Person-Centered Plans (PCPs). Monitor service delivery to ensure alignment with treatment goals and best practices. 2. Documentation and Compliance Review and approve clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Maintain complete, up-to-date client records in accordance with state and Medicaid guidelines. Ensure timely completion of progress notes, incident reports, and plan reviews. 3. Staff Supervision and Training Provide clinical supervision to direct care staff and paraprofessionals. Facilitate ongoing staff development through training and performance evaluations. Ensure staff are equipped to implement service plans and manage client behaviors effectively. 4. Client Advocacy and Support Serve as the primary advocate for clients’ clinical needs and service coordination. Coordinate services with external professionals, agencies, and family members. Support transitions to lower levels of care when appropriate. 5. Crisis Management Respond to critical incidents and provide support in crisis situations. Ensure proper documentation and follow-up for all incidents. Participate in the development and implementation of safety plans as needed. 6. Regulatory Adherence Ensure all services comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing and Medicaid requirements. Participate in audits, quality assurance reviews, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (Master’s preferred). /adolescents, ages 9-14). Must meet North Carolina’s QP definition under NC Administrative Code. Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, service planning, and Medicaid guidelines. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
Working Conditions :
