Job Description

The Medical Staff/Peer Review Coordinator is responsible for coordination and oversight of all Medical Staff activities, including: Credentialing for Scotland Health Care System, Medical Staff meetings, call schedules, continuing medical education programs, Medical Staff Bylaws, Peer Review and JCAHO preparation as related to Medical Staff and Peer Review. Qualifications include post high school courses; BS, BA with an emphasis in management preferred; ART, LPN, or RN preferred; two years in quality and medical staff credentialing related functions; proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Access; basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred; excellant communication and organizational skills; diplomacy, tact, and a positive approach to problem solving.
