Regional Clinical Lead 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Wake County, NC Description of Work We are looking for candidates who have a passion for helping court-involved youth. We are Working Together to Strengthen North Carolina’s Youth and Families! This position has the responsibility for overall coordination, management, and supervision of behavioral health clinicians and programs at three youth development centers. Work involves research, design, and implementation of best practices in behavioral health as well as the formulation and evaluation of plans, programs and systems for providing direct behavioral health services for youth with a range of emotional and behavioral issues. The Regional Clinical Lead provides clinical expertise for facility leadership and communicates with other state agencies, service providers and stakeholder groups regarding behavioral health programming.
Other duties include:
Assists with recruitment and selection of behavioral health clinical staff Manages behavioral contracts to include ancillary clinical services and substance use treatment services Provides clinical guidance for licensed mental health clinicians at the facilities and consultation for unlicensed staff. Provides statutorily mandated licensure supervision as allowed in guidance with the rules of licensure boards. Coordinates and provides training for professional staff and evaluates clinical programming to ensure quality and effectiveness of services. This position is expected to provide direct mental health services to juveniles at a high level of clinical and technical expertise. The Regional Clinical Lead will serve as the SME in performing advanced assessments and treatments of complex behavioral, emotional and learning disorders.
