Qualifications:
Associates degree or experience in medical credentialing is preferred. Must have knowledge or experience in the Billing or Credentialing/Provider enrollment department. Job duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for most aspects of the credentialing and recredentialing for all medical providers who provide patient care at LCHCS and its subsidiary locations. Responsible for ensuring providers are credentialed, appointed and privileged with all participating health insurance plans. Maintain up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems; ensure copies of licenses and certifications. Maintain backup files •Salary scales are a range of pay and offers are made to applicants based upon the requirements of the particular position. Applicants with “previous like skills” may not be given the same weight and consideration as “previous specific same skills”: i.e., For a Medical Receptionist position, “Previous clerical skills” may not be preferred over “Previous Medical Clerical Skills”
