Job Summary The Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for the ongoing implementation, oversight, and coordination of our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. This individual leads a multidisciplinary team and collaborates with physicians and other departments to ensure top-quality care, compliance with CMS and Medicare standards, and an exceptional patient experience. A strong desire to promote cardiovascular wellness and lead by example is essential. Key Responsibilities
Assumes full responsibility and authority for the day-to-day operations of the cardiac rehabilitation program.
Collaborates with the Medical Director to develop, implement, and review program protocols, policies, standing orders, and procedures.
Oversees admissions, exercise guidelines, emergency protocols, staffing patterns, and documentation to maintain CMS and regulatory compliance.
Ensures all equipment is functioning properly and maintains service and documentation schedules.
Develops and implements participant education, orientation, exercise programs, risk factor modification, and counseling while ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance (i.e. Medicare).
Maintains regular communication with participants’ physicians and the Medical Director regarding care plans and progress.
Acts as a role model for heart health and leads community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about heart disease prevention and treatment.
Leads quality improvement efforts and reports findings to the hospital-wide QA committee. Qualifications
