Key duties include:
Scheduling appointments, surgical procedures, and follow-ups Coordinating with orthopedic surgeons, Athletic Trainers, and other healthcare professionals Managing patient records and ensuring accurate documentation Providing patients with pre- and post-operative instructions Assisting with insurance verification and prior authorizations Educating patients about orthopedic conditions, treatments, and recovery plans Addressing patient concerns and facilitating communication between patients and providers Concise knowledge in out of network insurance plans as well as NJ/NY NF and workers compensation required to even be considered for an in person interview. Ability to travel to satellite offices is a requirement to be considered for an in person interview. Bilingual in Spanish is required. Knowledge of
MODMED EMR
is a must. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a background in healthcare administration or clinical support are typically required for this role.
