FUNCTION
The Patient Flow Manager is responsible for overseeing patient flow strategies, ensuring effective coordination of admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize hospital capacity. Working within the Operations Intelligence Center (OIC), the Patient Manager collaborates with clinical teams, hospital leadership, and external partners to enhance patient throughput and ensure positive patient outcomes. This role demands strong leadership skills, clinical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required). Master’s degree in a healthcare-related discipline (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience as an RN in a hospital or EMS setting required. Minimum of 3 years leadership experience required. Experience working in a command center or centralized hospital operations setting (preferred). Experience in patient flow, bed management, or hospital operations (preferred). Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to drive operational decisions and performance improvements.
Certification/ Licensure:
