Works cooperatively withall members of the care team to support the vision and mission ofthe organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere toLean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinicaland service goals.
Working Hours:
Seven days a week, a 40-hour workweek between the hours of Noon to 8:00 pm or 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Schedule will include alternating Saturday and Sunday’s. Scheduleto be determined by manager upon hire. May be asked to float toother clinics as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtain accurate andupdated patient information, such as name, address, insuranceinformation
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service
- Obtain patient signatures for required documents
- Upload a validGovernment issued state ID of patient and patient insurance cards
- Accurate and complete occupational medicine registration workflow
- File and maintain medical records
- Consistently correctregistration work queue errors
- Confirms and schedule appointments
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Performreferral documentation promptly
- Working daily in the claims editwork queue to correct registration errors for submission toinsurance companies
- Performs certain follow-up services forpatients in a prompt and courteous manner, such as schedulingspecialist appointments, scheduling follow-up appointments andobtaining copies lab results or specialist reports
- Adhere to thestandards identified via Sparq regarding Optum Employee Policies
- Work cohesively with fellow employees to achieve specific teamgoals
- Keep abreast on current medical requirements relevant totheir position, which includes maintaining patient confidentialityand abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirements
- Comfortableworking in high pace environment
- Participate in planning,coordinating, and implementing care in conjunction with themultidisciplinary team in accordance with the Plan of Care
- Assurethe continuity of care through scheduling and tracking systems
- Provide effective communication to patient / family team membersand other health care professionals as evidenced by documentation,case conferences, communication notes, and evaluations
- Notifyclinical staff of schedule changes as they occur
- Comply withadministrative policies to ensure quality of care
- Demonstrateprecision and efficiency in scanning documents and monitoring thefax server, retrieving and / or scanning documents and assigning tothe appropriate electronic chart
- Participate in orientation(scheduling segment) of new field employees and distribute updatesand changes as needed
- Perform other related duties andassignments as required
- Organize and maintains medical records

Required Qualifications:
- High SchoolDiploma/GED (or higher)
- 1 years of experience working in medicaloffice position performing duties such as scheduling appointments,checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collectingco-pays, and maintaining medical records
- Intermediate level ofcomputer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook be ableto use multiple web applications
- Ability to travel 10 % of thetime to cover other offices as needed, and have reliabletransportation
- Bilingual in
Spanish and English PreferredQualifications:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Knowledgeof Epic EMR software

88 to$33.22 per hour based on full-time employment.
