Job Description
Position Summary Management of the day to day activities of a clinical treatment, outpatient services, intake and access. Ensure the coordination of patient care processes and outcomes, providing leadership and supervision for professional mental health practice, selecting and maintaining competent staff, and operating in a cost effective manner. Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Provides direct care services, group therapy, individual counseling, and initial assessment. 2. Provides clinical supervision to clinical staff. 3. Maintains statistics on all clinical functions of department. 4. Accountable for the coordination, organization, and evaluation of patient care, human resources and managements of Outpatient Services, including OPS, Intake and Access. 5. Document all interactions with client’s family, referrals courses and insurance companies. 6. Maintain standards of licensing board, JCAHO and DMHAS regulations, Medicaid Regulations, and HBH policy and procedure.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
Required:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field
Preferred:
None Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
Five years experience in the field of mental health
Preferred:
None License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
NJ LCSW or LPC, or Clinical Psychologist Preferred:
Supervisory certification from the appropriate licensing board Knowledge, Skills and/or
Abilities:
Required:
Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Supervisory skills. Knowledge of clinical techniques, basic financial/fiscal information. crisis management techniques
