Job Description
Clinical Supervisor, BCBA 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars East Brunswick, NJ 08816 Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Clinical Supervisor-BCBA will be overseeing and assisting the Behavior Specialists with the day-to-day clinical activities. The BCBA is responsible for monitoring individualized treatment plans, overseeing implementation of treatment, and providing staff/family consultation. The BCBA will also help guide the Behavior Support team to utilize best practices and suggest strategies to improve treatment of the individuals who Disability Allies serves. This position will also require some field work when needed. Oversees the implementation of behavior support programs for clients. Utilizes online data collection. Works with a dynamic interdisciplinary team of professionals to achieve goals and objectives. Works with the Chief Operating Officer to maintain best practices and assist with the development of new materials for the program. Works with the Intake Coordinator/Case Managers) to ensure that new intakes and existing clients are assigned to the Behavior Specialist(s) as appropriate. Reaches out to Program Director, Case Manager(s) to maintain communication and to assist with any issues as needed. Works with the Director of Marketing and Development as needed. Oversees all location/program Behavior Specialists, including the Pre-Vocational Program, In-Home Program, and Day Hab Program. Participates on committees as requested. Implement policies and procedures as needed or directed by the Chief Operating Officer. Schedule and hold monthly supervision meetings with staff. Perform case reviews with all Behavior Specialists. Review (re)assessment reports/treatment plans as needed. Oversees all location/program Behavior Specialists, including the Pre-Vocational Program, In-Home Program, and Day Hab Program. Participates on committees as requested. Implement policies and procedures as needed or directed by the Chief Operating Officer. Oversee all hours worked by full-time Behavior Specialists and provide support for staff regarding hours utilization; assist with time management as needed. Assist HR with training of new and current program staff and direct support staff. Attend clinical team meetings to facilitate and create strategies to help grow and expand the Agency. Performs other related tasks or duties as assigned. Must be currently certified as a BCBA with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board. Individuals who have recently competed their Master’s Degree and are waiting to take the BACB exam will be considered on an individual basis. Maintain CEU requirements and BCBA credential with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board (BACB). Obtain and maintain certification in good standing commensurate with treatment provided. Prior clinical experience in providing applied behavior analysis to young adults preferred. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders preferred. Analytical skills necessary to synthesize a variety of clinical and social data to determine appropriate diagnosis, treatment plan and monitor effectiveness of treatment programs.
