This leader will ensure the center operates efficiently while upholding the highest standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and requirements is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic oversight for daily operations of the surgery center. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Joint Commission standards. Oversee all administrative, clinical, and business functions of the center. Collaborate with the Medical Director, Governing Body, and physicians to meet clinical and operational goals. Manage financial operations, including budgeting, cost control, and long-term capital planning. Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Ensure proper credentialing and licensing of all medical and ancillary staff. Maintain patient safety, infection control, quality improvement, and risk management programs. Direct staff training, education, and performance evaluations. Oversee facility maintenance, contracts, and vendor relationships
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of surgery center management experience required. RN License in New Jersey preferred with surgical services experience. Strong knowledge of Joint Commission (TJC) standards, accreditation, and compliance requirements. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage financial operations and maintain operational budgets. Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach. Experience in team building, staff development, and strategic planning.
Preferred Skills:
Background in outpatient surgical services. Experience with infection control program leadership. Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and state regulations. Marketing and business development experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to manage periods of sitting, walking, standing, and computer use. Able to work under stress and manage multiple priorities.
