Albany County Department of Health SALARY:
$76,463, In addition to contractual COLA increases, the annual salary of $76,463 will increase by $400 on the anniversary date for three years.

DESCRIPTION
The Program Director of Parent Child Health will oversee and manage all public health aspects related to parent, child and infant health within Albany County’s Department of Health. The role involves the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs designed to deliver high quality, comprehensive care for parents, infants and children. The Program Director of Parent Child Health will supervise the Parent/Child Public Health Nurses and work closely with the WILLOW Program, as well as work with healthcare providers, community organizations and public health officials to improve health outcomes and address health disparities in the County. This work is performed under the supervision of the Director of Public Health Nursing or a designee. Does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EITHER A. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a at least a Master’s Degree in Nursing or a closely related field two (2) years of experience in community health•, which includes or is supplemented by two (2) years of supervisory experience; OR, B. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in community health•, which includes or is supplemented by two (2) years of supervisory experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
– Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State at the time of appointment and throughout employment; – Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license at the time of appointment and throughout employment.
