JOB SUMMARY
As a Clinical Supervisor at Bridging Access to Care, you will play a vital role in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma informed and compassionate care. Under the supervision of the Director of Substance Use Services, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight for the day-to-day operation of the First Steps 822 Substance Use Clinic. Responsible for supervising front-line staff, coordinating coverage, problem-solving, and overseeing daily operations at the First Steps 822 Substances clinic. Responsible for evaluating clinic compliance, monitoring budgets and revenue generation, and assisting in projecting, developing, and monitoring revenue.
EDUCATION AND WORK QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM:
Master’s of Social Work MINIMUM:
NYS Licensed Master Social Worker required.
MINIMUM:
Three (3) years providing clinical supervisory experience required.
MINIMUM:
Three (3) years’ experience working in a clinical/substance use program.
LICENSURE
LMSW Required, LCSW Preferred

SIFI DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision & Leadership Provide weekly individual supervision and biweekly group supervision to staff and assigned interns. Responsible for the overall implementation and management of the OASAS clinic. Allocate nonprofit contracts, track, and report metrics to stakeholders, and ensure timely achievement of deliverables. Actively participate in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of supervised positions. Educate staff on data collection, documentation, and reporting protocols. Utilize weekly electronic health record reports to measure program deliverables, ensure data accuracy, and provide constructive feedback. Review, develop, and implement departmental policies and procedures Weekly data entry into the PAS system for OASAS. Assists with the development and management of strategies for program funding and self-sustainability. Participates in assigned internal committees. Attends external meetings as assigned, including but not limited to: Reentry Council and Coalition of Behavioral Health OASAS meetings Outreach & Partnerships Creates and maintains linkage agreements with potential referral sources. Conduct outreach and maintain working relationships with graduate schools and referral sources. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
In-depth understanding of Harm Reduction and its core principles. Strong knowledge of Trauma-Informed Practices. Demonstrated experience in generating revenue for clinical services. Proficiency with Medicaid managed care, and other client billing processes. Familiarity with OASAS regulations. Experience working within the community and utilizing community resources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. (Spanish and Haitian-Creole preferred)
