Primary Responsibilities:
Check in patients at both the Front Desk and Endoscopy Desk
Update patient insurance information and collect co-payments
Verify and update patient demographics
Assist patients in signing all required consent forms (Front Desk and Endoscopy Desk)
Print patient wristbands for identification
Collect and process payments (Front Desk bucket)
Work registration queues in the system
Link recalls to appointments and procedures
Call patients for colonoscopy recalls
Confirm procedure and office appointments
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and take messages
Assist with medication refill requests
Send procedure reports to Primary Care Providers (PCPs) You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to be a team player
Proven computer knowledge
Proven excellent verbal and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
