Videos Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Program Management Responsible for all aspects of pharmaceutical care services provided by Inpient Pharmacy within the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Assures proper security of all drug, supplies and equipment for the section. Manages the Automic Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) and auto-replenishment/ ward stock for approprie stock levels and inventory control. Works with the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor to monitor and develop clinical pharmacy programs/activities within the inpient pharmacy. Expert understanding of regulory and quality standards pertaining to Pharmacy. Manages an effective quality assurance program for the Inpient Pharmacy. Assesses, plans, and evalues the scope and quality of pharmacy programs. Participe in interdisciplinary medical center committees and pient rounds (as needed) as a member representing Pharmacy Service. Regularly conducts high-cost drug evaluion and corrections. As a result of identified trends and changes in procurement costs, develops approprie educional merials and new processes to ensure cost effective prescription processing. Administrion/ Supervision/ Leadership Responsible for the day-to day operions of the pharmacists & technicians in the Inpient pharmacy. Develops & maintains the schedule including leave and tendance for all inpient pharmacy staff. Conduct on-going and annual performance evaluion of subordines.
