Job Summary:

FLACRA is seeking a dynamic and experiencedSenior Director of Clinical Operations•Residentialto join our leadership team. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Clinical Operations, this critical role will help drive the growth, innovation, and quality of our residential treatment programs across the Finger Lakes Region. In this role, you will serve as a strategic leader and clinical mentor, helping to shape integrated care models, build strong clinical teams, and ensure the highest standards of treatment for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to enhance systems of care, develop new programming, provide clinical supervision, and lead quality improvement efforts to support both clients and staff. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate residential behavioral health services in a mission-driven, client-centered organization committed to excellence in recovery care.

Must-Have Qualifications:

+ LicensedQHP(Qualified Health Professional) in New York State (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT) + Minimum of3 years clinical experiencein behavioral health, with a focus on co-occurring/integrated treatment + Demonstrated leadership experience and clinical supervision skills + Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation + Strong knowledge of harm reduction, evidence-based practices, and family systems treatment + Familiarity with residential treatment modalities

+ Flexible, adaptable leader who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments + Proven ability to build strong interdisciplinary teams across multiple locations + Strong communication, time management, and crisis response skills + Familiarity with the local behavioral health landscape in the Finger Lakes Region + Experienced in navigating electronic medical record systems (EHRs) and

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee day-to-day clinical operations across residential programs, ensuring quality care and staff development + Develop and implement innovative policies, workflows, and treatment strategies in collaboration with leadership + Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to team members, interns, and emerging leaders + Participate in and help lead Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs), team meetings, and case reviews + Monitor clinical documentation, performance scorecards, and compliance with agency and regulatory standards + Offer hands-on support through coaching, in-the-moment supervision, and coverage during critical gaps + Evaluate community needs and ensure clinical staff are equipped to deliver integrated treatment plans + Lead clinical trainings and workshops on evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and recovery principles + Participate in the senior-level on-call rotation + Serve as a liaison to community partners, referral sources, and cross-system collaborators + Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of clinical staff + Promote a positive learning environment, including guidance for internship placements and career growth opportunities
