Duties and Responsibilities:

The Clinical Supervisor (CASAC) will oversee and support a team of counselors and clinicians in delivering evidence-based treatment services to clients with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and clinical skills to ensure program compliance, quality assurance, and client progress. Provide clinical supervision to CASACs and other counseling staff, ensuring delivery of effective, ethical, and person-centered care. Monitor caseloads and documentation to ensure compliance with OASAS and agency standards. Facilitate weekly supervision meetings and individual clinical support sessions. Conduct case reviews, treatment plan audits, and staff performance evaluations. Assist in onboarding, training, and mentoring of new clinical staff. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical, mental health, and administrative departments. Respond to client concerns and crisis situations as needed. Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate entry of progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments in electronic health records. Strong knowledge of OASAS regulations and clinical documentation standards. Experience working with diverse populations, including justice-involved individuals, preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

Valid CASAC (Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor) certification in New York State required. Advanced or Master Level CASAC required Some supervisory experience preferred.
