Founded in 2020 in New York, PT of The City is a physical therapist-owned and operated clinic offering comprehensive evaluations, hands-on/manual therapy, innovative treatment techniques, personalized exercise programs, and patient education. Orthopedic Rehabilitation Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Vestibular Rehabilitation Gait Training Sport-Specific Rehabilitation With multiple branches across New York City, including Brooklyn, PT of The City is committed to delivering exceptional care and fostering a supportive environment for both our patients and staff. About the Role As a Patient Care Coordinator , you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient clinic experience. You’ll ensure smooth front-desk operations, assist physical therapists and help maintain a high standard of care and service. Key Responsibilities Direct patient traffic and manage check-in/check-out procedures Serve as the main point of contact for patients in person, coordinating with the Virtual Front Desk Support therapists with his tasks including room turnover, supply restocking, and basic monitoring Help ensure the clinic meets operational and compliance standards including cleanliness, environment, and documentation Participate in outreach efforts to promote services and strengthen community engagement
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a healthcare, front-desk, or customer-facing role (preferred)
Skills & Competencies:
