Job Description
Hospital Nurse Supervisor – Evenings 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Yonkers, NY 10701 We are seeking a compassionate and highly personable Hospital Nurse Supervisor to work in a community-based hospital. In this key position, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, helping to create a welcoming, supportive, and seamless experience throughout the hospital stay—from admission to discharge.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 1:00pm – 9:00pm
Location:
Westchester What You’ll Do:
Serve as the primary liaison for patients and families during admission, hospitalization, and discharge Make patients feel comfortable, heard, and supported—especially during the initial stages of care Coordinate all aspects of patient admissions and discharges with attention to detail and compassion Assess incoming patients and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure appropriate care planning Proactively ask, “How can we help you today and going forward?” to support individualized care Drive improvements in patient flow, communication, and overall experience Maintain accurate documentation and support administrative processes
Qualifications:
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, engaging demeanor Excellent organizational and administrative coordination abilities Previous experience in admissions, discharge planning, or care coordination is a plus
