The center is part of the Montefiore Health System, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City region and Hudson Valley. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Nurse Manager to join our staff. Montefiore is doing more to deliver science driven care where, when and how patients need it most offering patients state of the art healthcare close to home.
Position Summary:
The Nurse Manager provides daily support and guidance to the nursing staff and is essential in order to continue in the redesign and adhere to our patient centered requirements.
Job Duties Include:
Support a multi-specialty practice which includes: internal medicine and specialty /sub specialty providers, including but not limited to Cardiology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN and Urology. Oversee all clinical and administrative functions performed by the nursing staff to assure clinical and fiscal objectives are met. Ensure quality patient/family centered care are provided timely Patient/customer satisfaction issues are resolved timely Supervise, train and evaluate staff Acts as liaison between Montefiore Medical Group and Montefiore Mount Vernon administrative and clinical departments. Development and implementation of policies and procedures according to evidence based practice in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Education and Requirements:
Masters degree preferred. Bachelors degree required Valid NYS Nursing License Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical environment, along with progressive leadership experience BLS/Infection Control Certifications We offer an excellent salary, comprehensive benefits.
