Location:
Peekskill, NY The Residence Manager will provide supervision and oversight in 2 residential group homes for adults with Autism. Responsibilities of the Residence Manager of the residences manager include but are not limited the following: facilitate the planning, development and implementation of person-centered plans; develop individuals’ goals and outcomes with people supported; coordinating and participating in individual plan meetings; ensure the timely completion of summaries for monthly, semi-annual and annual reviews; ensure each resident’s electronic healthcare record is updated and accurate. The manager will provide ongoing support and ongoing training to all program staff and ensure that both coverage and compliance meets all regulatory needs and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience working with OPWDD regulations and policies. Maintenance of necessary certifications as per OPWDD and Agency Regulations. The ability to lead others, exercise good judgment, understand and follow written and oral instructions, and to express ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. Comfortable with daily use of technology. Valid unrestricted Driver’s License within Agency Standards. Demonstrated competency in written, verbal and computational skills to document records in accordance with program and OPWDD mandates. Successful completion of criminal background history and fingerprint examination.
