Full-time Reports to: Director, RxARECARE Operations The Manager, Clinical Programs leads operations and program management activities for specific teams at PANTHERx™ Rare Pharmacy. The manager is responsible for being the manufacturer point of contact for PANTHERx™ Rare Pharmacy for all requests and inquiries related to the designated program. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for operationally executing the designed RxARECARE program, which includes patient onboarding, patient engagement, adherence programs, quality, coaching and training. The manager will mentor newly hired staff, train existing staff, and address escalated patient, manufacturer, prescriber, or leadership concerns. The Manager will be responsible for directly leading all Pharmacists, Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians, Claims Analysts, Care Coordinators, and Patient Care Coordinators on the team. Responsibilities Leads RxARECARE team to provide services to patients and partners. Distributes responsibilities to team daily to ensure all patient engagement activities are handled daily. Evaluates and acts on daily reports regarding operations, assuring the team exceeds partner expectations. Hires and trains staff to support business operations within the RxARECARE Team, including pharmacist, nurses, and support roles. Performs monthly call monitoring for each team associate and coach on identified issues. Participates in the process of implementing new business program and the creation of operational support materials. Coordinates processes and overall compliance of REMS programs (applicable when leading program requiring REMS). Conducts staff training for new processes/process changes. Participates in regular meetings with leadership to discuss staff needs and accomplishments. Participates in RxARECARE Workgroup meetings. Completes and delivers team members annual reviews. Staffs the team as needed to support current business. Oversees contractual obligations and reporting for pharmaceutical manufacturers. Attends status meetings and works with dedicated internal resources to resolve data issues within a set time per agreement. Schedules quarterly business review meetings. Responds to inquiries from the client as questions arise including but not limited to program design, marketplace conditions, payor coverage, etc. Handles issue resolution related to ordering of product, inventory levels, data and service levels covered under this agreement. Responds within one (1) business day to issues, or as outlined in the agreement. Develops launch plan and provides launch support as needed. Additional projects and activities as assigned. Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited institution. Active and unrestricted Pharmacist licensure for the state of Pennsylvania. Minimum of three (3) years as a practicing, licensed pharmacist. Previous Specialty Pharmacy experience including developing, supporting, and managing patient care services for rare and orphan disease states. High level of independent judgment, individual initiative, and time management skills. Demonstrated success with partnering and collaboration with internal and external partners/stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a leadership role, managing team members. Work Environment This position operates in a home or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as reading, observing surroundings, or working with various forms of data.
