What You’ll Do:

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for patients and caregivers, assisting with prescription orders, billing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience. This is a high-volume role with high stakes in ensuring excellent customer service and timely assistance. Coordinate prescription orders with new and recurring patients or caregivers monthly or as needed. Provide information and support to inbound callers, assisting with orders, cancellations, and general inquiries. Review patient medication coverage to obtain necessary information such as co-pays, balances, and authorizations. Ensure full customer satisfaction with a friendly, helpful, and professional demeanor. Document all communications and actions taken in patient records. Handle payment transactions and communicate with patients regarding past due amounts. Collaborate with clinicians and internal teams to support patient needs and resolve any complex issues.

Qualifications:

2+ years of related healthcare experience in a Specialty Pharmacy setting or 5+ years of customer service experience in a call center environment. Strong communication skills , time management, and active listening. Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Commitment to excellence , patient-focused care, and a high sense of urgency . Empathetic, respectful, and dedicated to delivering the best service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

Position Success Factors:

Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask. Ability to contribute to a positive team culture with cooperation and professionalism. A solid understanding of Specialty Pharmacy operations and healthcare best practices .

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour
