REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES

Position Summary We are seeing a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Clinical Services (RDCS) to provider leadership, oversight, and strategic direction to the clinical operations of multiple skilled nursing facilities and personal care within our network. The RDCS will serve as a key resource to ensure regulatory compliance, drive quality outcomes, and support clinical excellence in resident care. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and support to Directors of Nursing across assigned facilities Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (CMS, DOH) and company policies Conduct regular clinical audits, mock surveys, and risk assessments to monitor facility readiness Analyze clinical metrics including QAPI data, rehospitalization rates, infection control trends, and survey outcomes to drive quality management Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and support facilities in developing plans of correction and abatement strategies. Mentor, train, and develop clinical leadership at the facility level to enhance staff retention and operational stability. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of nursing leadership positions. Collaborate with regional and corporate leaders to align clinical strategy with organizational goals. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing; multi-state licensure preferred Minimum 5+ years of clinical leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing, including regional and multi-state roles. In-depth knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, infection control, and quality initiatives (e.g. five star, QAPI). Proven track record in clinical turnaround, compliance defense, and team development . Ability to travel extensively across assigned region (up to 75%). Preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communicator and change agent Ability to balance strategic oversight with on-the-ground operational support Experience with EMR systems such as PointClickCare (PCC) and other clinical reporting platforms.
