• Organize and maintain medical records in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information
• Retrieve and file medical records as needed
• Prepare medical records for patient appointments and admissions
• Review medical records for completeness and accuracy
• Assist healthcare providers in locating and accessing patient records
• Input data into electronic health record systems
• Follow established procedures for record retention and disposal “`Requirements“`
• Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
