Inthis vital role the Sr. Manager, U.S. Healthcare Compliance willserve as the primary compliance point of contact for Amgen’s U.S.Value & Access, Market Access & Contracting, and Patient Access ℜimbursement teams. They will ensure that the organization is incompliance with all relevant laws and regulations and will developand implement policies and practices to ensure compliance whileeducating employees about compliance requirements and responding tocompliance issues as they arise. Under the direction of theExecutive Director, U.S. Healthcare Compliance, this individualwill be asked to work with various cross-functional organizationsincluding Law, Regulatory, and Privacy to appropriately advise thebusiness on how best to mitigate risk related to key strategicinitiatives. This individual will rely on his or her understandingand knowledge of the U.S. enforcement environment regardingbiopharmaceutical products with particular experience ininterpreting: FDA drug promotional requirements Federal FalseClaims Act Federal anti-kickback statute U.S. privacy requirementsGovernment transparency reporting Industry standards for complianceand ethics (PhRMA Code) This Sr. Manager, U.S. HealthcareCompliance will also rely on their understanding of the commercialenvironment regarding Amgen products including the following areas:

Competitive products Clinical and scientific data Issuessurrounding the value assessment of Amgen products Challenges topatient and provider access to medicines Other medical advancementsand developments in the disease areas of interest for

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 yearsof experience in compliance or legal supporting bio-pharmaceuticalbusiness Or Masters degree and 4 years of experience in complianceor legal supporting bio-pharmaceutical business Or Bachelors degreeand 6 years of experience in compliance or legal supportingbio-pharmaceutical business Or Associates degree and 10 years ofexperience in compliance or legal supporting bio-pharmaceuticalbusiness Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience incompliance or legal supporting bio-pharmaceutical business
