Responsiblefor providing patient-oriented service in a clinical or frontoffice setting; performs a variety of clerical and administrativeduties related to the delivery of patient care, including greetingand checking in patients, answering phones, collecting patientco-pays and insurance payments, processing paperwork, andperforming other front office duties as required in a fast-paced,customer-oriented clinical environment.

Monday
- Friday 6 AM
- 6 PM and Saturday 6 AM
- 4:30 PM
- Working 8 Hours within thesetime frames
Location:
8775 Norwin Avenue, Irwin, PA. We offermultiple weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will bebased on schedule or will be discussed on your first day ofemployment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicates directly withpatients and / or families either in person or on the phone tocomplete the registration process by collecting patientdemographics, health information, and verifying insuranceeligibility / benefits
- Utilizes computer systems to enter accessor verify patient data in real
- time ensuring accuracy andcompleteness of information
- Gathers necessary clinicalinformation and processes referrals, pre-certification,pre-determinations, and pre-authorizes according to insurance planrequirements
- Verifies insurance coverage, benefits and createsprice estimates, reverifications as needed
- Collects patientco-pays as appropriate and conducts conversations with patients ontheir out-of-pocket financial obligations
- Identifies outstandingbalances from patient’s previous visits and attempts to collect anyamount due
- Responsible for collecting data directly from patients
- Responds to patient and caregivers’ inquiries related to routineand sensitive topics always in a compassionate and respectfulmanner
- Generates, reviews and analyzes patient data reports andfollows up on issues and inconsistencies as necessary

Required Qualifications:
- High SchoolDiploma/GED (or higher)
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)Sunday
- Saturday. Employees are required to have flexibility towork any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal businesshours of 6am
- 6pm EST and assist in coverage on weekends andholidays
- Ability to stand for most of the 8-hour shift you areworking
- Access to reliable transportation and possess a valid USdriver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of customerservice experience such as hospital, office setting, customerservice setting, or phone support
- Experience with MicrosoftOffice products
- Experience in a Hospital Patient RegistrationDepartment, Physician office or any medical setting
- Experience ininsurance reimbursement and financial verification
- Experience inrequesting and processing financial payments
- Working knowledge ofmedical terminology
- Understanding of insurance policies andprocedures
- Ability to perform basic mathematics for financialpayments
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, communication andcustomer service skills

The sign-on bonus is onlyavailable to external candidates. Thesalary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based onfull-time employment.
