Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly-skilled Cardiac Surgeon to serve as the System Chief of Cardiac Surgery. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who is clinically excellent, demonstrates a passion for improving patient outcomes, and advances the field of cardiac surgery while mentoring future leaders. This candidate will lead, provide strategic direction, and participate in the delivery of high-quality contemporary cardiac surgical care including CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery and advanced cardiopulmonary therapies. This candidate will join a well-established cardiac surgery program currently performing more than 600 open-heart surgeries per year. Additionally, our catchment area of 12 counties, 9 WellSpan hospitals, and over 250 employed practices will allow for significant continued growth.
