Employee Assistance Program Job Description:

Oversight of department staff (therapists, interns) with a team of three co-managers. Serving as an operations contact for the therapists and interns (approving schedule changes, relaying expectations, reinforcing accountability to agency standards and expectations, providing regular clinical consultation and direction to staff, facilitating staff meetings) Ensuring the smooth functioning of outpatient therapy operations (compliance with regulations, quality assurance monitoring, handling customer concerns, documentation in the medical record) Hiring, training, and maintaining clinical staff according to the agency’s personnel policies Understand and comply with both mental health (OMHSAS) and substance use (DDAP) regulations Supporting department staff and functions by completing some/all of these duties alongside the other staff as necessary Creating, implementing, and ensuring efficient processes and policies, in cooperation and coordination with the other managers of the outpatient program and customer engagement department Ability to monitor and impact the financial health of the outpatient clinics Working cooperatively with area stakeholders and providing positive support to the community

Job Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in clinical field required (social work, counseling) Minimum of 2 years of management experience Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills Knowledge of the regulations governing Psychiatric Outpatient Clinics and DDAP Facilities LPC, LSW, or LCSW preferred Experience with substance use treatment necessary Experience with child and adolescent population a plus The position requires three clearances and one training: Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Check and Mandated Reporting training.
