Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Practice Coordinator, Physician Practice directs and manages the administrative functions and day to day operations of the outpatient faculty practices of the Department of Medicine, including supervision of support staff. Develops and monitors policies and procedures, coordinates flow of patients, and oversees financial and medical billing functions. Serves as liaison with referring physicians, effectively manages human resources, and performs other job-related duties as required or requested.

Specifications:

Bachelors Degree in Health or Business Administration, Master’s preferred, with three to five Medical Office Practice experience required; MSN preferred, with experience in a medical practice; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of medical billing helpful. Must have excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills and be fluent in the English language.
