The Associate Manager reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for the operation and functioning of all aspects of the residence / program to which assigned. These may include administrative, supervisory and fiscal functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the Program Manager in the following areas: a) Scheduled coverage of shifts b) Supervision and upkeep of agency properties c) Payroll and financial accounts d) Organization and implementation of administrative paperwork e) Compliance in accordance with agency policies and licensing standards, such as the implementation of policies, procedures, performance standards, and outcome measures. f) Documentation in accordance with agency policies and licensing standards, such as participant records, training, fire safety, daily logs, contracts, etc. g) Staff training and tracking, staff scheduling, weekly billing
- Is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operation(s) of the residential, vocational, and community programs to which assigned.
- Assists in the screening, employment, supervision / support and performance evaluation of support staff.
- Schedules and participates in team meetings (e.g., quarterly team meetings, core team meetings, staff meetings, ISP’s, family meetings, vocational team meetings, monthly management team meetings, etc.).
- Works as a liaison with families, state, and community level agencies as necessary.
- Participates in planning with senior administrative staff and governing body as necessary.
- Provides direction and leadership when problem solving and does so in a timely and effective manner.
- Displays a commitment to excellence and looks for ways to promote quality service. Advocates for individuals in them.

- Plans and organizes work activities, time, and resources, effectively.
- Adapts to changes in the work environment and adjusts approach / method to best fit the situation. Works with the approved budget. Develops and implements cost saving measures when appropriate.
- Carries out other assignments appropriate to the position as determined by the direct supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 5-10 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Assists in the following responsibilities:
interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, REQUIREMENTS
: Valid Driver’s license / Registration, Vehicle Insurance, Completion of a State of RI BCI and National Criminal Record Check/Fingerprinting, OIG and E-Verify, Certification in Crisis Intervention, CPR, First Aid and Universal Precautions.

$22.00 per hour
