Job Description
The Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, and team member activities for all perioperative services departments. These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Required:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Master’s degree in relevant subject area such as nursing or business administration required. Licensed in SC as a Registered Nurse Seven (7) years of experience in nursing. Five (5) years of experience in perioperative services. At least two (2) years of experience in leadership.
Position Specific Skills:
Able to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Interpersonal communication skills necessary to work with hospital employees, physicians, patients, family members and community professionals. Ability to work flexible hours to meet Department needs.
